Split
Discover the strengths and weaknesses of each different emotion. Experience joy, rage, sadness, and fear while escaping and confronting enemies. This game is set on the rooftops of a dystopian city, and the distant skyline can be seen throughout. The main focus of the game is to implement UI systems that work around the game's lore and its mechanics.
This game was initially created as a school project for my Intro to Scripting class, but I wanted to continue working on it further. The updates will be posted here. I created the art in google slides, except for the menu screen, which is a default texture that comes with Unity2D. I also created the music using Soundtrap's free online program. Finally, I wrote the code for the game initially with the help of Joseph Hocking's Unity in Action 3rd Edition, but I added my own ideas onto the foundation.
Note: Some features within the controls are planned but not yet in effect. These include many of the gameplay settings. The controls are set up for PC (within the browser or via the downloadable), but console and mobile support are on their way.
This current playable game is in its Prototype phase.
