My name is Rebekah Bledsoe, and I am a Computer Simulation and Gaming student with a passion for UI/UX design and general game development. I have experience leading multiple teams of developers, and I've served as Lead Quality Assurance for many of the games I've worked on. I enjoy coding systems mainly that work with UI, but I have experience developing for other types of systems like combat, movement, and recently inventories. I love design as well, which is why I am working on personal projects outside of school work that have my own concepted designs.
I currently am also the president of an IGDA affiliated game-development club at my college (Milwaukee Area Technical College), where we work to build our member's portfolios and give them opportunities to network within the local and broader gaming community.
I have experience coding with Java, C#, Python, and HTML/Java Script. I am most proficient with Java and C#, but I continue to relearn each, so that I can use them whenever I need. For development, I have the most experience with Unity, but I have recently been learning Unreal Engine 5. I now also have experience with modding Minecraft, currently with simple mob retextures, but I plan to continue my research and projects with modding. I have also been developing API tools, currently I am working on a text editor for Unity's engine specifically, but I have been researching implementing my API scripting knowledge into game engines outside of Unity.
