My name is Rebekah Bledsoe, and I am a Computer Simulation and Gaming student with a passion for UI/UX design and game development. I have experience leading multiple teams of developers, and I've served as Lead Quality Assurance for many of the games I've worked on. I enjoy coding systems mainly that work with UI, but I have experience developing for other types of systems like combat, movement, and recently inventories. I love sound design as well, which is why I have been exploring audio design techniques within games.
I am currently the president of an IGDA affiliated game-development club at my college (Milwaukee Area Technical College), where we work to build our member's portfolios and give them opportunities to network within the local and broader gaming community.
I have experience coding with Java, C#, and Python. I am most proficient with Java and C#, but I continue to relearn all of them, so that I can use my skills whenever I need. For engines, I have the most experience with Unity, but I have recently been learning Unreal Engine 5. I enjoy modding Minecraft, usually with simple mob/item retextures, but I plan to branch out to other games as well. I've also been developing API tools, and I am currently working on a text editor for Unity's engine. Finally, I have been exploring using Leap Motion's tracker to develop games that track hand movements and read them as inputs.
