This project was one I worked on after graduating from MATC, but it was for an event hosted by MATC for their 2026 spring game jam. I worked on solo-developing this project including 3D modeling, texture painting, UI creation, programming, and maintaining the build. I unfortunately ran out of time to add sound effects, but I am proud of the work I did get done.
Some major things that I learned during this project's development:
- Spending time planning a project is important, but spending too much time on planning can lead to shortages in time for development.
- Keeping scope small and polishing around that helps build a clean project.
- Building a game takes a while and should be started much sooner than 10 minutes before the project deadline.
This first phase was launched to itch.io on 05/08/2026.
